- To celebrate National Pharmacist Month, the American Pharmacists Association is encouraging champions, partners, and advocates to bring awareness to the many ways pharmacists provide care. - Tuesday, October 16 marks National Pharmacy Technician Day and this year’s theme is Celebrating the Essential Role of the Pharmacy Technician. You can join the conversation by tagging your social posts with #RxTechDay. Be sure to follow the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) on social media and look out for upcoming giveaways.
- The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists encourages all hospital pharmacy personnel to stay in touch with colleagues by connecting through social media. The ASHP Twitter handle is @ASHPOfficial and its hashtag for this year’s Pharmacy Month is #ASHP18.
