The University of Maryland School of Pharmacy ranks in the top 10 educational institutions for excellence in studying for a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.

Founded in 1841 in Baltimore and steeped in tradition, the school of pharmacy is developing its curriculum to keep up with the ever-changing global demand to produce professionals that can take pharmacy and medical research into the future.

The University of Maryland School of Pharmacy gives students the opportunity to participate in service, research, and educational programs to help develop and discover medicines to improve the health and wellbeing of our communities.

School of Pharmacy Admission Requirements

For admission into the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, you must have a minimum of 65 credit hours and have a 2.5 cumulative GPA or above from any accredited college or university in America.

The school of pharmacy offers you all you need to be a licensed pharmacist when you graduate and offers partnerships with more than 200 pharmacies, nursing homes, and professional hands-on opportunities to prepare you for the workplace.
